JEM Industries is a California licensed General Engineering contractor with hazardous endorsement. Our A-HAZ license allows us to provide comprehensive storage tank removal. We can provide a soup-to-nuts solution to permanently or temporarily close underground and above ground storage tank sites. Many of our customers wish only to sub out portions of the construction project. We're happy to provide any of our services including excavation, cleaning, degassing, crane services, and trucking.

Underground Storage Tank Removal

JEM Industries also provides complete fueling system installation from, setting tanks to system start-up, underground or aboveground. From a direct fill waste oil storage tank to a 6 tank, 16 dispenser high volume retail fueling location. JEM's extensive experience, strong management team, tried and true construction management techniques and long term relationships with trusted subcontractors insures a timely, cost effective project. Working with consultants and general contractors we'd be pleased to provide any or all of our installation services.

Fueling System Installations

The Aboveground Storage Tank has become a popular choice for fleet fueling requirements and emergency generators. If you have the available real estate and want to avoid many of the regulations associated with underground storage tanks then an AST may be right for you. JEM has installed many AST systems. We have the experience and knowhow to bring your project on time and in budget.

AST Installs

Enhanced Vapor Recovery... the deadline will be here soon. Do you need In Station Diagnostics? JEM has been retrofitting stations since 2005. Our experienced, knowledgeable field technicians will minimize your downtime.

EVR Upgrades

SB989 requires that tank owners with single wall secondary containment to test their fueling systems every three years. In most situations you can continue fueling operations during the test. JEM Industries utilizes state-of-the-art testing equipment. Our many years of working in hazardous environments, along with our familiarity with fueling systems of all types, insure your test will be conducted safely, quickly and with a minimum of inconvenience. Should a failure be identified by either 989 testing or on a AB 2481 compliant system JEM can facilitate repairs. JEM has repaired literally hundreds of failures and has the experience to solve your problem too.

Secondary Containment Testing & Repairs

JEM staffs HAZWOPER trained ,experienced heavy equipment operators expert in operating a wide range of equipment. JEM holds a multi-site OSHA excavation permit and has performed remediation projects as small as 10 yards inside a dry cleaning business to projects as large as 10,000 cu yards. Working with consultants, JEM can provide the muscle behind any size project.

Dig & Haul Operations

JEM works behind the scenes with many General Contractors who are just looking to get their tanks cleaned. Our HAZWOPER trained field technicians show up when you need us , get your tanks cleaned, prepare the manifest, get out of your way.

Tank Cleaning Services

Found a clarifier on your construction project? Found fuel in one of your sumps? JEM is a licensed hazardous waste hauler with a 1,000 gallon vacuum trailer. We can remove, transport and dispose of your hazardous liquids.

Vacuum Truck Services

JEM works with Environmental Consultants providing construction services for vapor and groundwater remediation installations. Our experience in working around fueling systems or in contaminated environments assures your project will be completed safely and efficiently.

Vapor/ Water Remediation System Installation

The JEM Industries well monitoring program was specifically designed to meet the needs of the environmental consultant. The program is completely flexible and allows you to choose the services that you need, or have us handle the field work completely.
